Snapper SP2265 Self Propelled Mower
The SP2265 has the same features as the S2265 with the only difference in the drive system. One is a push mower which requires the user pushing, and the other one is a self propelled mower which gives more steering control to the operator. However both models are also referred as walk behind mowers and the SP2265 is a walk behind mower in Snapper's SE Series.
You will find the same powerful Briggs and Stratton engine along with standard features such as the ReadyStart and FreshStart. For those who haven't heard these terms before, ReadyStart is a system that eliminates priming prior to starting the mower and FreshFuel is a system that will keep your fuel fresh for up to six months - a feature useful during winter.
Enjoy the same best-all-around 3-n-1 system on this model too. Whatever are your cutting needs - bagging, mulching, or side discharge - you will able to achieve them easily. The cutting deck is 21" in width and is made of steel. There is also Snapper's patented Double Wave Blade which will make your cutting effortless.
Other notable features include a quick release handle design allowing easy handle-height adjustment, a big rear discharge bag that can be easily removed and emptied, and 8" front and rear wheels made of ball bearings that can withstand any rugged use.
A self propelled lawn mower is easier to steer than a push mower and is more suitable for the bigger mowing jobs. The SP2265 is priced at $329 but it is worth paying a little bit more to enjoy the efficiency of a self propelled engine.
